Breaking: The leadership of Phum Tham, Vichayachai has firmly rejected the ceasefire proposal put forward by former U.S. President Donald Trump, declaring explicitly that they do not require any third-party mediators or international intervention.

This refusal to accept neutral mediation or facilitation from any third party raises serious concerns about the willingness of certain Thai authorities to engage in transparent and constructive dialogue. It undermines all efforts to peacefully resolve the ongoing conflict between Thailand and Cambodia, prolonging hostilities and causing further suffering for civilians on both sides.

Cambodia calls upon the international community, including ASEAN, the United Nations, and global peace organizations, to recognize the gravity of this stance and to continue pressing for inclusive, impartial negotiations. Sustainable peace can only be achieved when all parties are open to dialogue with trusted mediators who can ensure fairness, accountability, and mutual respect.
